Evaluate your project with film
Film is an excellent way of evaluating the projects that your organisation has been working on.

What is an evaluation film? Often, organisations working on large projects will want to monitor the outcomes of that project. If they received money from funders to deliver the project they will almost certainly be required to evaluate the project, and in our experience film is an excellent way to do this.
Film is a fantastic way to communicate and engage with an audience and when it’s done correctly, you can communicate a whole raft of information and emotion in a short space of time. An evaluation film is great way to give a clear overview of what your project has been about and what impact it has had.
Our unique skill set
4dots productions is part of a user led organisation and we understand what makes a good evaluation film. We are experienced at liaising with project funders and, for a while now we have evaluated our own work through film. We are delighted that we’re now able to offer this service to other organisations
People First Dorset
We made this short evaluation film for People First Dorset. This Dorset based charity had recently completed a piece of work about the accessible information standard for NHS England and were then awarded funding to evaluate that piece of work with a film. Delighted to help them with this, we produced the short film shown here.
The Flourish Project for Livability
We made this longer, more involved evaluation film for the Flourish project at Holton Lee. This is a great, horticulture therapy project that has been running for 5 years with funding from the Big Lottery. There was a lot to get across in this film. It’s long in length but we will also produce a shorter public facing film about the project.
We pride ourselves on being a flexible, person centred organisation with an easy going, down to earth approach
The earlier the better
Involving us early in your project means we can capture more as well as chart the progress and personal journeys.
We understand funders
Our experience working with a range of funders gives us the insight required to make excellent evaluation films.
Because we are a charity, when you work with us you will know that you are also supporting us to deliver free support services to our community. These services include our free information and advice service, our virtual Centre for Independent Living, our Citizen Journalism and our Film Making Club.
If you are interested in using our film making service then please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
